You play with nature and nature will play with you
This winter it is proving to be true

The modern chilai kalaan arrived in Kashmir
The warmth of summer is all we can feel

With no more sheeni -pi-pin welcoming the snow
These dry conditions are a major blow

These are the consequences of our bad deeds
We exploit the resources for our greedy needs

Snow fighting and making sheeni-mohnue is all missed
Pray for the western disturbances to make climatic twist

If these conditions prevail, soon we will run short of water
With dryness everywhere, the day is not farther

Let's take steps to save nature
So as to be safe in near future
