So Eager, To Be Myself
So eager to please, I am
I’ll change for the world
And back again
I just wish I could be me
Pure and simple
For the world to see
To see
Who I truly am
Who I want to be
But by now
Its to late
I hardly know the person inside
And I doubt
I could bring her back
Even if I tried
I’m too far gone
Too deep in the lies
That I’ve created to keep the world content
