So Long And Forever Poem by Keith Quincee

So Long And Forever

Remember my subtle kiss
Indulge in the memories
I guess life will never be the same
I guess this is the end

But you're falling tonight
Hold my hand and we can run
Hold my hand and we can fall together
I never want to let go

Remember our love like this
As long as we sleep like this forever
As long as I face your icy blues
Nothing matters, not the world

Flesh to flesh we turn cold
Lust and love, this was not
Something deeper and beautiful
Tonight, Belle, let our love eclipse this pain
Tonight, we'll sleep forever.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem kind of means a lot to me in a sense of' what if we never get to be together again'. I guess we all want to live with our lovers until the day we BOTH die. But it's impossible in some cases. This poem covers just what it's like to be in love, and how a man if offering his life to his dying women by dying with her, so they can be together forever. I'm 16, not really experienced when it comes to poetry but you're welcome to give constructive criticism.
