So True A Tale Poem by Paul Adebayo

So True A Tale

Rating: 4.0

In the depths of my tale, a chilling fright
If I unveil it, fear may consume your every light
Yet I persist, hoping for days to rearrange
Yearning for liberation, from this binding cage

Through trails of torment, like a twisted math
Converting darkness to light, a powerful path
Unearthing truth 'midst of deceit's disguise
Conquering my dreams, as fantasies arise

Beneath my feet, I shape my destiny's call
With pride in choices, achieving goals above all
Regret, if at all, let it not dance too late
Unchosen life, yet with grace, I embrace this fate

Grant me strength, let faith hasten my pace
Guide me, so in no crevice, shall I misplace

I know ahead of me are many days
inscribed - a better place
Ransacked and searched the whole place, patience was losing face
Furious was I in the chase and my passion in flames
Little did I know my soul was at stake and my life at play
Unbeknownst to me I am not the potter but only the clay.
