Socotra Poem by Connor ODonoghue

Socotra

Rating: 4.5

War whispers over a thousand minds
The sloth of the winds
Everything is calm
Watching up to the heavens
And hell in my palms,

A pebble lands aside
and men in green hide

A Flash of Light
And burning of a blight

And the Socotra bleeds.
