Sodom Poem by King Heretic

Sodom

Our sin tainted the clouds that night
As Gods tears pierced through the gloomy thicket
My soul quivered before your presence
Sodom manifest within the confines of four corners
Our bodies waltzed with sloppy form

Your hands grasped mine to assure reality
My breath falling in line with yours
Our souls singing foreign tunes
Both ignorant of our fate

Oh!
How I wanted minutes to become hours
And hours to become eternity
Anything to escape our inevitable judgement
However, ours was a fate predetermined

Angels sent from on high
The gates of hell opened
There was no Lot to be found
Only statues
