Sojourn Poem by Sharbaaniranjan Kundu

Sojourn

I am such a peaceoving person.
I usually never cross a person's sentiments and feelings.
Alas, others mostly do not follow this principle.
I am sorry to say animal instincts are their primordial occupation
They argue not to know the truth
but rather to win the argument.
They have no satisfaction in seeing the other person satisfied.
They glee when they feel the opponent is cornered
little realizing the 'opponenr' is either frustrated
or is just pitying his tormentor.
How many more evolutions will be needed
for the person to become an evolved man or woman?
When will divinity will have a chance
to impregnate him or her.
Life divine has little chance for sure
for such wretched persons
till many more births refine him or her
