Sold My Soul Poem by Newo Enec

Sold My Soul

I sold my soul for a little spilt blood
And the contract remains on my flesh
I am corroded by the sounds of your voice
And I'm the product of meaningless
I sold my soul for the taste of red blood
And the details are still on my skin
Of what do you know?
You told me it doesn't work
You lied because I am free
And of what do you know?
Never seeing my toils
You speak before you feel
Because I sold my soul for a scar all my own
And if I could go back I'd do it again
To have a glimpse of what can not be
I would sell my soul for this freedom
I would sell my soul for what I will never see
I would sell my soul all over again
