'Soli Deo Gloria' Poem by axel maglunob

I journeyed a hundred miles,
Just to reach the path of success.
I voyage from afar,
Wading across the water,
To land at the shore of Hope.
I climbed up to the mountains of pain,
Enduring patiently
Just to reach at the peak of my Goals.
I passed by at the Hills of discouragement,
Just to look at the view point of uniqueness.
Day by day I walked on this road of brokenness,
Turning from the left to the street of Emptiness,
Just to follow His lead and go with Obedience.
Every night I lie down on my thorny bed,
Waiting for another monotonous day,
Yet, I lifted up my eyes just to see the Star of my life.
I kept on running this race,
Aiming to be at the first on the line;
I may fail to win this time,
The important is I finished it with all my heart.
Through God's grace, still, here I stand!
Grateful for all He's done.
Stepping out in this portal of knowledge;
Ready to embrace another expedition of my journey;
By the Helm and the Cross, leads me the way!
Indeed God is good!
To God be all the glory!
