when soon i shall close my eyes
death please come nearer for i
shall now have the courage to tell
you that after the ecstasies of my
youth the memories of my childhood
the exploits of my manhood after
i have begotten children of my own
and after they all have gone away
like birds strong enough to finally
spit on their nests, death, i shall
whisper to your ears: i am not afraid
anymore, and i am prepared to
swallow whole the food that you offer.
you must choose the time & place & how.
