Solitary Heart Poem by Santiago Lopez

Solitary Heart

Born alone to die alone, my heart is encased in stone.
Every fracture it encounters is a path to my evolution.
And you say your blood drips to a painless river of fear.
Yet underneath it all you still seem to disappear.
Into the bottomless pits of depression and despair.
Where none can see or hear.
I still look for you.
Search for your voice and speak out your name.
Calling for your presence.
In the confinements of your shallow insecurities, I shall find you.
In the prison of your buried soul, I shall find you.
In the walls enclosed in your solitary heart, I will find you.
To release you of your broken heart, from all loneliness and pain.
