Solitary Race Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Solitary Race

Living it up, every moment
A war of words
Holding feet to the fire
Presenting or receiving gifts
Worth cherishing.
Unrelenting heroic spirit
Indeed commendable act
With positive notes
As survival instinct.

In the name of God
God and love-
A helping hand
At the receiving end
Posing face, forced to pose
Controlling-
The Divine, one to one
In the lane of life.
Getting ground work done
Keeping an eye on the clock
Tuning an actor for its talent
Sky being the limit.
But, no time for the leading
Ladies and gentlemen
Walking thereby in and out.

It's just simple
Every now and then
Better for nothing
Knotty for now.

Whether, to go for thoughts
Or the feelings
Head to toe working tough
I can't find exact words
To express, what it means
To me and all, above all.

Rejoicing resilience
Kindness and endowment
The whole globe firm one
Solitary human race.
