Solitude Poem by Nina gáspari

Solitude

There you are,
Another day
Has past you
And there u are, still absorbed by your solitude
Now you´re wondering
Could there be something wrong with my attitude?
Reminiscing of the moments
You had, but your pride took them all for granted
How you wish you could have preserved them
So you wouldn´t have to watch them falling
And breaking right before your eyes
Those very same eyes
That used to tell insane lies
How you wish you could still catch them
So you wouldn´t have to let them slip away
And drip into somebody else´s way
That very same way
You did try, but couldn´t convey.
