Solutions Poem by KATOCH P C K PREM

Solutions

SOLUTIONS

I was looking out for solutions
fragile had been the times.
There was autumnal experience
in warm emotions that swept
the storm bedecked sea
of agitations.
Again past remained aghast
there were no escape routes
of dying generations
challenging times
in sensual compromises
on beds of faded flowers
beckoning unyielding
there was an unsung intensity
to revive life.
I was visiting
huge stony structures among ruins
of nascent histories
in corridors of violence and sex
and found no forgiveness
for I am living in wicked cities
among men with grotesque heads.
There was debris of failures
human beings fell apart
in pieces like mirror crushed
in scorching heat on a sunny day.
Hearts flummoxed
at unqualified apologies
of life wasted
and rituals of time
remain confined
to continued traditions
and vain culture.

It was the last song of death
with empty and un sounding words
in fury and dismal rage around
I was silently searching for solutions.
In hungry stomachs
and starved lips
between food and Satan's laugh.
Between passion and lust
it was decay
and damage of age
with no capsule of relief.
A peevish shock
a considered defeat in refusal
a denial that instills fears
and oversized vanities
of ambitions crumbling.
A frail phenomenon
of life external
here, I lie prostrate
before a temple
without a hymn and prayer
when I am looking out
I find nothing
but vacant houses
and empty roads
where no soul moves.
Streets sizzle with phantoms
Un-thought conversions spread hate.
A shaky natural experience
in a temple
without a God
when I walk searching
for a blessing.
