Some Might Say Only Time Will Tell Poem by Tommy2Souls YellowLivered

Some Might Say Only Time Will Tell

Adrift upon the raging sea
I'm tossed about in search of me
I Rise and fall upon its waves
As once did America's slaves

I have been poor all of my life
And as a pawn I've faced much strife
The rich live lives of luxury
To them all in their lives is free

They have not struggled and felt need
They've only lived a life of greed
They do not care of those who die
They only care of their Dows high

They believe they are the chosen
Living their foolish lives in sin
Though in the end they'll have to pay
Even the rich will have their day

Although even the son does not know
For even he's tossed to and fro
Keep going ‘til the end is here
Some believe there's nothing to fear

We'll be judged by what's in our book
By what we gave and what we took
Is there a heaven and a hell
Some might say only time will tell
