Someday Poem by Gianfranco Aurilio

Someday

When wishes
are chimera
utopia
fantasies
illusions
castles in the air
or whatever you want to call them,
when you can only sigh
because resignation
and defeat
make hope moot,
flee if you can
suffer if you can't
dream because you can
enjoy yourself when you can
and never bet
on Someday.
It loves playing tricks.
