Someday's Song Poem by Paula Somebody

Someday's Song

Rating: 5.0

Sing to me dear lover of your wonderful song
You sang to my bleeding heart where love was forbidden to belong.
My shell is broken but I hide in my egg.
My soul hides in your arms, the words cant be said.
The nights hold the truth, my idealistic ways hide the days.
The comfort of your touch my forbidden haze.
Be gentle dear lover.
My words speak of sanity but I ache for your touch.
Hide with me and do as you please.
Back in the real world I don't feel at ease.
I am the barrier, the keeper from harm.
I am the mother never to disarm.
You found the secret of the walls to behold.
Maybe one day the two worlds will collide and unfold.
Until time tells the fate off our ways.
You hold my nights.
I will handle my days
