Someday, When I Am Rich Poem by Natasa To

Someday, When I Am Rich

Someday, When I'm Rich

Someday, when I'm rich, I won't count every dime,
I'll look back and smile at the hard, lonely times.
The days I felt tired, the nights I felt small,
The dreams that kept whispering, "You can have it all."

I'll buy more than houses, more than things that shine,
I'll buy back the moments I once wished were mine.
I'll help those who struggled, who stood in the rain,
And turn someone's sorrow to hope once again.

I'll travel the world, see the sunrise each day,
Walk roads I once dreamed of but couldn't afford to pay.
But no matter how wealthy, no matter how far,
I'll remember the person who dreamed in the dark.

For money can build castles and open a door,
But happiness isn't something you simply buy in a store.
So someday, when I'm rich, if my dream comes true,
I'll be proud of the journey that brought me there too.

And when someone asks me, "What made you succeed? "
I'll say, "I kept going when I wanted to leave."
Because wealth isn't only the fortune I earn—
It's the lessons, the love, and the bridges I've burned.

Someday, when I'm rich, I'll finally understand:
The greatest treasure was never the money in my hands.
It was believing in myself when nobody could see—
That the life I imagined could someday be me.
