I know that,
it's completely foolish,
that I would fall,
for someone like you.

Although on the other hand,
it's not really crazy,
because you're smart and witty,
with dreams of peace.

That's all it really takes,
to win over my heart,
and somehow you've managed,
to keep it.

My heart doesn't,
hold on for anyone,
but for you it has,
oh I wish you knew.

However I'm kind of glad,
that you don't know,
all I feel,
just for you.

Your words are love,
and eyes of hope,
no wonder that I found myself,
hopelessly in love with you.
