Something Bukowski Would Say. Poem by Campbell Tucker

Something Bukowski Would Say.

Rating: 5.0

How do people expect you to feel?
I am confused, lost, nervous, anxious, scared, sad.
What of the outcome? I do not know.
I might not know, maybe I find out this evening?
What am I as a person owed?
Nothing.
What am I to do now?
Would it be selfish to express my feelings?
Yes.
In time.
There is space.
And in that space, in a small corner, are my feelings.
Mental stability in how neat I keep my corner.
