SOMETHING I LOOK AT-87
BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY

Let your mind go wherever it likes.
Don't chase it.
Just watch it, watch its movement.
It will get tired, come back on its own
and be there where you want it to be.

Watch your breath
coming in and going out.
Never get involved in the process.
It will go slower and slower and
take you to that land of wonder
where you will identify
and become one with the source.

Go beyond
your external senses of perception.
Dive deep inside,
listen to the beats of your heart,
the voice within and the divine melody emanating.
Your mind will stop roaming
and your whole being will come to stand still in bliss and harmony.

Feel
the cosmic consciousness
moving through the spine
from mooladhar chakra to sahasrara,
blood flowing through your arteries and veins,
the subtle vibrations deep inside.
Be with it, its rhythm and rhyme.

Watch the you,
you call yourself
as a silent observer.
It will let you know
who you actually are,
pure consciousness,
distinct from body, mind, and intellect,
with which you closely identify

Go beyond your external senses of perception. Dive deep inside, listen to the beats of your heart, the voice within and the divine melody emanating. Whole being coming to stand still........ meditating all through the poem. tony
