SOMETHING I LOOK AT-243

Ask Yourself

Have a cool head
A compassionate heart and caring gestures
Or else your fortune,
Pelf, power and success
May drag you into the abyss
Where you reach a point of no return

You know not
How far you have gone away from yourself
From life and its natural beauty
Until you find yourself in a noman's land
Where your own are not with you
To cheer and celebrate

Gather yourself
Before your fortune becomes your misfortune
All ways are closed
And you become all alone.
Ask yourself! what do you want?
Is it money, power and fame
Or something else?
Have these quenched your thirst
Or made you more thirsty?
Have these made you happy
Your journey more smooth and absorbing
Or only added to your anxieties and miseries?
