Something I Look At-338

SOMETHING I LOOK AT-338
BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY

Your indifference hurts,
hurts hard, pricks like a thorn,
tore my heart into a million pieces.
But what can I do?
This is the reality
I have to endure and live with.

Suffering is a part of my life
I will accept whatever comes my way with a smile on my lips,
will never let anyone see the tears behind my smiling eyes.

Life has never been easy
but life was never as difficult as it is
Know not how to cope with it
when my emotion and reason, both betray me

From the rest,
my tears are hidden.
But how can I hide them from me?
I feel each drop of it,
know not how to swallow an ocean of these

Life is a tragedy
I have made it sad and pathetic
It will be sadder
as time goes and will leave me alone in the Taj of my shattered dreams to find out what went wrong
