Attempted acrostic on my beloved teacher, Sri Bijayram Ray, Alanahat High School

SOMETHING I LOOK AT-382
BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY

SRI BIJAYRAM RAY

Smiles so warm, they lit up the day,

Rooted in kindness, he showed the way.

In Khairagada, his story began,

Born to Udaynath and Sulochana's clan.

In Alanahat, his dreams took flight,

Joyfully crafting a future so bright.

Artful hands stitched stories with care,

Yearning to teach, his wisdom he'd share.

Rays of love touched every heart,

A teacher, a tailor, a man set apart.

Married to Urmila, his life's perfect pair,

Retired in peace, leaving memories rare.

A master of craft, his skills unmatched,

Youthful dreams to his lessons were attached.

With laughter and love, his life was a song,
His spirit will guide us as we move along.

(Bijay Ram Ray, son of Udaynath Ray and Sulochana Ray, was born on October 23,1939, in Khairagada. He was married to Urmila Ray and served as the craft teacher at Alanahat High School.
