It's funny how things work out.
I wondered if there was really
someone out there for me.
Broken and shattered,
that I was.
But when butterflies came
back I couldn't understand why.
the sight of you confused me.
Hoe could an impulse be
so strong for someone I barely
knew.
I saw that you loved music
and was passionate about basketball.
I laid in bed and realized
it's not hard to fall for someone
just like me.
Dragged through the dirt,
beaten till there is nothing left
But yet drawn together so that I can
help pick you up.
Not that I have you
Nothing else matters.
Bringing joy to my heart
Yearning for your touch
Impossible getting you out of my mind.
You are the most amazing kid.
I just hope you don't leave
because we're in the way too deep.
As weird as I am you accept me.
And I understand that you
want to give the world to me
and more, but all I need is you.
We are not even half way there
Or even close to it.
But it feels as though this has
lasted for years already.
Not saying it's a bad thing,
it's not...I like it.
It only means I'm more
comfortable around you
then I have been with other guys
So with that being said I
Trust You.
-And nowadays that's hard to get-
I have said this a million times
and I know your answer.
Don't hurt me because I can't
handle it, and I won't hurt you.
My heart is brittle and one false
move will break it once more
I'm so fragile babe
