Something's In Life Poem by Meetika Srivastava

Something's In Life

Something’s in life is worth a distance run, that beckons’ the soul and beholds the mind.
Running miles seems nothing but an evening stroll, a gentle noon nap quenches the stresses of sleepless nights.
Something’s in life is worth a million dollars, which enlivens the spirits and re-energizes the body.
That something is alluring me to tread the paths unknown, as I walk along the kingdoms' strange; I smell the roses, feel the gentle breezes, bathe in warmer and brighter sun shines; Ah! It’s a splendiferous “abode of happiness” which I discovered. My deepest apprehensions die; for now I can only see new horizons behind dark black mountains; hold on that thought as I close my eyes to capture its beauty forever and ever in my mind.
