Sometimes Poem by Wendy Moravec

Sometimes

Sometimes in Winter

The snow falls deep inside

And sometimes in the Summer

The bees and birds fly high.

And sometimes in the Springtime

The air gets soft and sweet.

And sometimes in the Autumn

The leaves brush at my feet.

But sometimes in the shadows

I get so cold inside.

And sometimes in those shadows

My heart will wither and die.

And I think of a time

When those shadows disappear

And I’m left wondering…

Where do I go from here?
