Sometimes Poem by Ala' Elouri

Sometimes

Sometimes what we want isn't what we recieve
And what we wish for isn't what we gain.
Sometimes we just got to face reality
Theres many things that we want
Yet it's not in our ability
If I could change my financial cases,
I couldn't.
If I could change my last name too
I wouldn't.
You know why?
Because this all a blessing from the owner of the skies
Its a blessing from the owner of the seas,
Its a gift from the owner of the world.
And maybe If I was a person who had money
Had dollars, and cash
I wouldn't be who I am today
I wouldn't grant every moment that goes on everyday
Maybe If I didn't have problems,
I wouldn't be stronger
Or smarter.
Really there are many circumstances in my life
Where sometimes it makes me weak
But there is a potiential there in me
In which pushes me to suceed.
There is hope here in me.
Even all the trouble I've been through
Even the broken heart I, myself, own
Yet I'm just sure life goes on
Many go, new come,
This what happens: You cry then have a broken heart
And unhappy smile
But it's just fine
Life goes on
And never stops at one place.
I know myself I shall be joyful
And survive in my one lifetime journey.
