Sometimes Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

Sometimes

Sometimes,
I want to spread my wings,
And wrap you warmly,
As hen and her chicks,
But your thoughts scare me,
like the fear of the unknown,
What lies beyond the first planet,
What lies beyond the horizon,
The curtain falls on my eyes,
But how can I merely conclude,
Without first conceiving the fact,
I think my mind is rude,
But my heart I know is true,
Of what it nurtures for you.
