Somewhere Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Somewhere

'Somewhere beneath the blinding snows-
A smouldering senser, burns my rose;
But Love alone the secret knows
Till Spring appear.

Somewhere in unimagined deeps,
My star, a radiant dreamer, sleeps;
But Love alone the secret knows,
Till Night is near.'
