Somewhere Outside Poem by Dana Korneisel

Somewhere Outside

Somewhere Outside
There I left my emotions
The ones that were dark, were wrong, or unsure
And here I lay down,
Told my world my decision
Must wait now and see, will it injure or cure?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
One night, after a very stressful conversation pertaining to people I've never met and all their emotional disorders, I needed out of the room I'd been living in. I ran out to the field in front of my dorm to stop stewing on it and on return, gave my final opinion on how to deal with these persons.
