You nailed it with this poem......When governments and industries Lie choked by weeds in fertile rain For sure the few who stay alive Will laugh and grow to love again
A poem I love to return to. A touchstone. I collected it in 'My Favourite Poems' when I first joined Poemhunter, and whenever I am feeling jaded, tired of the huge mountain of poetry saying READ ME, READ ME, I remember this one, Song... Thank you for it.
