Song For Ailene - Poem by Cita Klocksieben

Amid the hustle and the bustle
Ingrained is the mettle
Lovingly, so diligently crafted
Efflorescence perfected
Nigh is the laughter
Everdearest daughter.
To see you back-tuck, kip and cast
Hand stand, do the hand spring
Elevate the round-off back hand spring
Reel that full twisting double back
Enjoy your double back pike
Split leap, stag leap
Every aerial is oh so neat.
Beam and bar
And vault and floor
No, please don't topple
Zoom in, focus, do the tumble
Only that why once more
Naught is forevermore.
