In the midst of the darkest forest
my poetry finds its truest voice
suddenly upon me it does dawn:
the mystery of pain, the poignancy of joys
and, like Keats, I've come to know:
Beauty is truth, and truth is beauty:
life into another realm begins to roll
and I've had a foretaste of eternity.
