Sonnet - 1 Poem by Syed Zaman Zaidi

Sonnet - 1

The moment, when I saw the one, I love.
On snowy evening that I can't forget.
The snow, the trees and all the clouds above.
They were the witness, to her when I met.
Her voice was so like a symphonic flute.
Her hair was darker than the darkest cloud.
Her charm was heavenly and she was cute.
She was like rose among all flowers' crowd.
But for us destiny had something sad.
To end our journey, it made us compel.
As proved, it did not want us to be glad.
With teary eyes, so we said fare thee well.
I vowed so, in my poem and in song.
She will be mine and to her I belong.
