Sonnet 10 Poem by Suelynn Walters

Sonnet 10

All the problems she had to face
Alone she will greet both night and day
In her loneliness in a dark gloomy place
How is it she doesn't seem to care
She looks at her window to the sky
There is no love for her to share
Yet, happiness is always in her eyes
She sat down and poured some tea
And told me be grateful for everyday
A tender touch she placed on my knee
She smiled and said she has no dismay
She said don't look so sorry for me
For life is a blessing in itself you see
