Sonnet 12 Poem by Alex Fischer

Sonnet 12

A chilling breeze wafts up towards dark grins
As beasts of battle roam across the plains
Shying away there goes our life no sins
As beasts of battle kill and earth do stains
Trying to think of a more perfect life
Time fades into a black filled pit so deep
Forming into a world that has no light
As beasts of battle on earth do so creep
Swaying with the breeze death so do surround
Searching for a piece of the broken heart
Coming towards it beasts do go ‘round
Taking this piece to a new kind of start
Death comes upon this earth so relevant
As beasts of battle kill with no repent
