Sonnet 2 Poem by Alex Fischer

Sonnet 2

There is a light shining from far away
It grows brighter with each and every day
My eyes are blinded by this shining light
This shining light drowns out the ebbing night
I look from where it comes yet it stays stray
I wander towards it closer every day
I spend each day looking for an answer
I speak to the man who lives in ganster
He tells me to look deep within my mind
This light is growing ever all the time
I fix my gaze upon the light and there
Is no other sign of a different share
I reach out to the light and bring it close
Now with the light I'm in a state repose
