Sonnet: Doctors' Day Celebration In India (Kfmsr, Cbe) Poem by Dr John Celes

This day, the world remembers Doctors' role;
The doctors slog to maintain nation's health;
‘The care of sick and suffering', is their goal;
Their sacrifices earn them lot of wealth.

Their life on earth is hectic from the start;
To be a doctor good, they learn a lot;
With time, their knowledge tends to turn an art;
Some doyens reach profession's highest slot.

Today, the cost of making doctors' high;
Most talented could miss the chance these days;
All doctors have to labour till they die;
A doctor's life is bless'd by Maker's grace.

A doctor's need does change with change of clime;
Diseases newer show their heads with time.
