Sonnet: God, I Can’t Take More! - Poem by Dr. A.Celestine Raj Manohar M.D.,
Oh, let my curses be upon them Lord!
Their harassment, I can’t bear anymore;
To suffer thus, my heart cannot afford;
They’ve wounded me enough in my heart’s core!
And have I hurt a single soul like them?
Not even in my distant thoughts or dream;
Nor did I wish to wear a diadem;
To hound me like blood-hounds alive, they seem!
And patiently, I’ve borne all their insults;
I am a victim of their evil snare!
And all my life, I have not seen such cults!
How evil minds unite and try to scare!
Deliver me, O Lord from their design,
And help me to my aim divine, resign.
