Sonnet Ii Poem by Patrick Calleja

Sonnet Ii

Rating: 0.5

A perfect love
Once ripe and willful
Full of ecstasy and joy
Fell in love with each other
Meeting in secret
Wooed by his stories
Shared their vows in veil
To preserve their love

A perfect love
Quickly turned into woe
Plagued by the green eyed monster
Jealousy creeped onto the couple
Insecurity took its toll
And the couple both dispatched together
