Sonnet- Laws Are For All Alike Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet- Laws Are For All Alike

Rating: 3.5

The world in which we live is sensitive;
One spark can cause a forest-fire widespread;
Each human lives life like a fugitive;
Uncommonly, there's sensible a head.

What diff'rences exist 'midst people most;
All love for neighbours has simply vanished;
And yet of unity all seem to boast;
In days, the country could become ravished.

Crime is a crime, no matter who you are;
Mob-violence cannot be allowed in lands;
The law is same for criminals or star;
One cannot take the law into one's hands.

Let no one hurt the other's sentiments.
All crimes must get some kind of punishments.
