Sonnet: Leave Adamant Souls To God Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Leave Adamant Souls To God

When all attempts to convince people fail,
And free advice enters only deaf ears;
When words of truth can’t access minds quite hale,
And persons fail to see reasons or tears!

When people live adamant, selfish lives,
And treat others with scorn or ev’n ignore;
When logic fails in heads although like knives,
And wasted seem your words from heart galore!

Just leave such ones to Mother Nature’s lap;
God has His ways of correcting such men;
Allowing extra-time and lots of gap;
If still unchanged, God puts them in a den!

Man’s patience lasts for only short a while;
God’s tolerance is more but ends in style!
