Sonnet: Life Looks Strange Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Life Looks Strange

The world I see is stranger than I knew;
Most people seem to have no heart at all;
The trust and fear in God, man must renew;
No one is prudent to avoid a fall.

The love amongst neighbors is external;
The family ties are crumbling all the more;
The peace amongst nations isn't real;
Much selfishness prevails in minds, hearts core.

But why do people change to such extents?
Most wear a mask to hide their expressions;
Happier are ones who lead their lives in tents;
All ages, sexes develop depressions.

Each one forgets his worries in queer ways;
Just God decides the fate of human race.
