Sonnet: Nature’s Music Is Best Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Nature’s Music Is Best

Mother Nature, Thy music is the best!
Displayed by creatures, out beating the rest;
What music out comes the bruised bamboo reed!
And notes of the desert dunes make one heed.

Ah what birdsongs render the air so sweet!
Their mere twitter, chirp-talk- a mental feast;
There is no equal for the cricket’s noise;
For nineteen years melodious beauteous warrants

What tambour’s in the male- frog’s mating croak!
The howling winds through mountains can evoke!
The deathly-rattle of a rattle-snake;
The buzzing noise that honeybees can make.

The tone of Thy least creature’s heavenly,
And renders listener’s heart and mind, Godly.
