Sonnet: The Beauty Of God's Creation Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: The Beauty Of God's Creation

The inflorescence of the grass seems great -
A spectacle of beauty to the eye:
A Maker's witness, we can't underrate:
A simply gorgeous thing under the sky!

Even the least of things is made so well;
A prying look reveals this truth and fact;
The worst of things on earth can't seem like hell;
Promise to man, God keeps always by pact!

Remember man, to never forget God;
Futile are things man-made and do not last;
But industriousness, God will applaud;
Let not engulf your heart, guilt of sins, past!

Mere human toil cannot sustain us much;
All things happen on earth by divine touch!
