Sonnet: The Lord Decides All Things Poem by Dr John Celes

My happiest day is approaching me fast!
The day God solves all problems nagging me;
I can then breathe with ease like in the past,
And see a future that will be rosy.

Till then, I should endure whatev’r things be;
Each person’s path of life looks different;
Yet, labor hard will bring success surely;
There is no point in turning impatient.

The lord who’s just, will answer my prayers;
Just put your trust in Him and look ahead;
No 0ne can tell the earth’s different layers;
No one predicts when he’ll surely be dead.

The Lord decides when troubles must abate;
He only knows each one’s predestined fate.
