Sonnet: The Worldly World Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: The Worldly World

He rocks and raps the world with eerie songs,
And acrobatically dances long,
And sways the audience huge despite his wrongs,
And heads to stardom with a mighty gong!

She takes the peoples minds to world of nerds,
Magicians, witches, spells and devil-dom,
Enthralling young hearts surreal like herds,
Amassing wealth, and owning a kingdom!

He golfs around the world, staying on top,
And lives in cruising liners off the beach,
And sex-wise weak, his home’s an utter flop,
But keeps most fans within his easy reach!

Yet, one who preaches men to keep off vice,
Has neither pelf, nor flock to heed advice!
