Sonnet: Time And Tide Waits For No One Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Time And Tide Waits For No One

Most people postpone doing things that’s good,
Awaiting better times and chances more;
Do good deeds then and there, in life, one should
Or shut becomes with time, another door.

Life does not wait for any man for long;
Some things deferred are never done at all;
But people promptly do things that are wrong
To friends, relatives, offering but gall!

Relationship that’s strained, you better mend;
You may not get another chance in life;
To make up with others, you must well bend;
Misunderstandings cropping up are rife!

Man, reconcile with God who loves and cares
For you and all your crosses big, He only bears!
