Sonnet: When At Life's Cross-Roads Again! Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: When At Life's Cross-Roads Again!

From chaos, let more clarity be born!
I've reached life's cross-roads, once again on earth;
In life, let me more righteousness adorn,
As this has been my dream ever since my birth.

I cannot serve two masters - God, money;
I will abandon wealth before I die;
I'd always chosen God in life's journey;
To gather heav'nly treasures, I will try.

Decision-making seems so arduous;
I have been tested many times in life;
I must be more holy and virtuous;
I needn't worry of futuristic strife.

For heav'n, in purity must soul be dressed,
And Heaven's greatest can't sin in the least.
